Policy section linking connects specific sections of a policy document to the controls and requirements they implement. Instead of linking an entire policy to a control and hoping the right part is understood, compliance teams can now map at the section level. AI separates the policy document into sections and generates suggested links for you to review and accept, provides an aggregate view of coverage across the whole document, and automatically cascades proof to keep evidence current as policy versions change.
Section-level links mean you can see exactly which part of a policy satisfies which control or requirement, rather than a vague whole-document association.
A common linking window provides an aggregate view of all objects linked to the policy or any of its sections in a single list, so users can review mapping coverage without clicking through each section individually.
Section-level links appear on the policy's Controls tab, so section-level work is visible at the policy level.
When a policy is linked to controls, the effective policy document is automatically added as proof to those linked controls.
