Name

The Name of the repeating task.

Repeats

Displays the trigger for the repeating task. Options include On schedule or On event.

Repetition details

Provides the details for the Repeats trigger. Triggers include:

  • On schedule - The interval that causes a new task to be created, such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannually, Annually.

  • On event - The system event that causes a new task to be created, such as a change to freshness on the target object.

  • Control

  • Label

  • Risk

  • Scope assignment

Target ID

The ID of the object that is targeted by the repeating task. This value also serves as a link to the target object. Target IDs for the Multiple scope assignments target type are not links because the repeating task is applied to multiple scope assignments.

The icon for the task integration configured on the repeating task. Hyperproof supports task integrations with Asana, Jira, and ServiceNow. When the repeating task is triggered, a task is created in Hyperproof and the integration system.

Assignee

The tasks generated from the repeating task inherit this assignee, except in the case where the target object is a scope assignment or multiple scope assignments. In that case, the user can configure a different assignee for each scope when configuring the repeating task.

If the assignee is a user in an integrated system, the system's icon appears over the user icon. For example, if the repeating task is integrated with ServiceNow, the assignee is a ServiceNow user, and the ServiceNow icon displays.

Group

If the repeating task assignee is set to a Hyperproof group, the group name displays.

Event value

For repeating tasks that are triggered by an event, this field shows the specific value that triggers the repeating task to create a new task. Types of values include:

  • Field change: The values the field must change to, separated by commas, for example, “Critical, At risk”. Required, except for person fields such as control owner, where any change triggers the task.

  • On new proof version: Name of the proof to watch

  • Test result events: The Test ID

Custom fields

Each custom field added to a repeating task displays in a separate column, with the custom field name in the column header.
