Configuring SCIM in Hyperproof

Roles and permissions

The following roles can configure SCIM:

  • Administrators

If you plan to use SCIM to provision users in Hyperproof, enable SCIM in your Hyperproof organization under Settings.

SSO must be enabled and configured first. Hyperproof supports SCIM using Okta or Microsoft Entra ID SSO. Depending on where your organization is hosted, see one of the following for instructions on enabling SSO:

To configure Hyperproof for SCIM provisioning

  1. From the left menu, select Settings.

  2. Select Authentication.

  3. Toggle on the Provisioning option.

The Provisioning window displays. Hyperproof generates a SCIM Endpoint URL and Bearer Token.

Note: You can create a second token used to rotate the token that is currently in use. Click +New token to add the second token.

Note: The Provisioning menu is not visible for you to configure SCIM until SSO configuration is complete and Support has enabled the feature for your organization. To request the SCIM feature, open a support request.

  4. Copy and save the SCIM Endpoint URL and Bearer Token. You will need them later when configuring your SSO platform, such as Okta.

  5. Click Save.

For information on the entire workflow for configuring SCIM provisioning, see Okta SCIM workflow and Microsoft Entra ID SCIM Configuration.
