Linking a label to a control

Roles and permissions

The following roles can link a label to a control:

  • Administrators

  • Compliance managers

  • Users

  • Limited access users

  1. From the left menu, select Controls.

  2. Select the control you want to link the label to.

  3. Select the Labels tab.

  4. Click Add labels.

    The Add labels window opens.

  5. Select the checkbox or checkboxes next to the label or labels you want to link, then click Confirm.

    The label is linked to the object.

Tip: If you can't find the label you want to link, click Create new label.

Linking and unlinking multiple controls to a label

  1. From the left menu, select Controls.

  2. Click the Grid view icon.

  3. Select the checkboxes next to the controls you want to edit.

  4. Click the Labels link at the top of the grid.
    The Add labels window displays. Any labels already linked to the selected controls display with a checkmark in the associated checkbox.

  5. To link labels to the selected controls, click the checkbox next to the labels you want to link.

  6. To unlink labels from the selected controls, clear the checkboxes next to the labels.

  7. Click Review.
    The Review and confirm window displays.

  8. Click Confirm.
